Kendall’s Tavern & Chophouse offers group dining options in our main dining room and bar spaces. Additionally, Kendall’s offers a private room for parties from 2-22 who want a bit more peace and privacy. Whatever the occasion, Kendall’s team will create the best possible experience to bring you and your guests together.

GROUP DINING

Group dining reservations can be made in our warm, welcoming main dining room or our lively bar. Our main dining areas are perfect for company happy hours, birthday celebrations, baby and wedding showers, family gatherings, apres golf celebrations, and more. Kendall’s offers group dining parties of 14+ a limited menu, based on menu guidelines outlined here. Kendall’s team is happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies whenever possible. Food & beverage minimum, service charge, and applicable taxes apply to all group dining reservations.

PRIVATE DINING

For guests looking for more privacy or peace and quiet, Kendall’s private dining room is a wonderful option. Our inviting, modern private dining room is equipped with the latest technology for presentations, comfortable seating, and a large community table. The private dining room provides a wonderful ambiance and atmosphere for family gatherings, board meetings, wine tastings, wedding celebrations and more. Parties of 13 or fewer may order from the Kendall’s menu. For groups of 14-22, Kendall’s offers a limited but diverse group dining menu. Kendall’s team is happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies whenever possible. Private dining event order, deposit equal to the facility fee, food & beverage minimum, service charge, and applicable taxes apply to all private dining reservations.

GROUP DINING MENUS

For groups of 14-24, Kendall’s offers a curated selection of à la carte menu options. Our Group Dining Menus are designed by our award-winning chefs, with guest preferences in mind. Guests can select from Kendall’s favorites, including appetizers, entrees and desserts, and gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. For groups of 24 or more guests, Kendall’s offers both plated and buffet options, depending on guest preference. Consult with our Group Dining Coordinator to create the perfect menu and service style for your next group dining experience. Arrangements can be made to accommodate a host of special dietary needs.

Kendall’s Restaurant is uniquely designed to provide areas suitable for group dining, with indoor and outdoor accommodations for groups from 10-96 guests. To make your event truly special, each of our distinct areas offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere – with cozy fireplaces, views of the action in the kitchen, or beautiful outdoor ambiance on the patio. Kendall’s offers flexible indoor and outdoor meeting, event, and dining spaces, including a gorgeous outdoor patio. In addition to our spacious main dining areas, Kendall’s offers more private group dining spaces, including:

Market Room: The Market Room is a comfortable, inviting space that is perfect for pre-event gatherings, receptions, Chef’s dinners, wine tastings, meetings and family celebrations. With thoughtful amenities and the latest A/V technology, The Market Room can accommodate groups of up to 48 guests.
Sun Room: The Sun Room is a warm, welcoming space that is adjacent to Kendall’s main dining room, and perfect for private dinners, family celebrations, wedding events, and company gatherings. The Sun Room offers privacy, comfort and charm, and can accommodate groups of up to 28.
Jerome Room: The Jerome Hill Room provides flexibility, versatility and can accommodate up to 96 guests in a banquet setting. Remodeled in 2016, the space is perfect for rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, corporate events, meetings, conferences, reunions, retreats, family celebrations and more.

Is there a deposit minimum?

Yes. We require deposits and minimum buys for all spaces. Specific pricing can be discussed during your consultation call.

Why must we have a limited menu for our private event?

Offering a limited menu makes it easy for guests to choose their meal, streamlines kitchen operations, and ensures a smoother dining experience for your private event in Coon Rapids.

Can your culinary team accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions?

With ample time to prepare, our culinary team is happy to accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions whenever possible.

Does Kendall’s provide A/V and entertainment equipment?

Yes! Our private dining room in Coon Rapids offers the latest A/V equipment, making it an excellent choice for board meetings, family gatherings, and presentations.

Is Kendall’s handicap accessible?

Yes, we are. Our event coordinators are happy to include access details at the time of your venue tour.

Is there a time limit for private events and group dining at Kendall's?

Private events at Kendall’s are booked by-the-day; you may stay as long as we’re open and the fee doesn’t change!

Can we decorate?

Yes! We have a few easy rules — no glitter, no confetti, and no hammering into our walls. We recommend arriving early to your event to decorate with time to spare!

Can we bring our own cake or dessert?

Yes, you may. A $2.50/per guest dessert waiver will be applied when you bring desserts and cakes from another licensed bakery. If you’d like to avoid the fee, you can order desserts and cakes directly with our events team.

Are we able to limit what guests can order from the bar?

Based on your requests, our event coordinator can coordinate details with you and build a beverage menu that suits the event. Drink tickets work well, or we can build a limited menu of provided beverages. Just let us know what you’re thinking.

I’ve picked my date and would like to book my private party at Kendall’s. What’s the next step?

Great! Our event coordinator will send you an invoice for the facility fee, a non-refundable deposit to hold the space.

What is Kendall’s cancellation policy?

Private events can be canceled at any time; however, deposits are non-refundable regardless of when the cancellation occurs.

When do we need to provide a final guest count?

Final guest count must be finalized no later than one week prior to your private event.

When is the final payment due?

If your private event offers a buffet, the events team will send an invoice once the final guest count is confirmed — ideally at least one week before the event. If your meal is plated, the server will present a check at the end of the event.
